How To Prospect On Facebook… There are 1 billion people on Facebook, it is an amazing place to prospect! You will never run out of people to talk to.. Whether you are in Real Estate, Network Marketing, or sell dog food, Facebook has you covered. Prospecting on Facebook is very easy. However, you must have the correct approach or you will lose out and even get thrown in Facebook Jail.
There are so many different ways to go about prospect on Facebook today I am going to go over prospecting on Facebook through messenger.
First, you must find your prefect prospect on Facebook; in the search bar of Facebook you can type in whatever your target market would be interested in. Then groups or people will pop up depending on what the latest thing on your search is. At that point you will want to go over checkout the person profile. Find something of common interest; could be you both have kids, they live in Florida you use to, they love dog you do to. Just find something. This is very important when it comes to the message you will be sending.
The message and how you come across is very important. There are so many people on Facebook spamming their business to people so people are very much on the defense when it comes to new people.
You want to start the conversation by telling them where you found them then ask them about whatever it was you two have in common. When they write back you can ask to send them a friend request if they haven't already sent you one. At this point remember you are making a friend not a sell. People buy people not companies so do not go into why they should use you or why your company is the best. You want to talk with them find out what it is they need. Maybe they already are using someone else or in another business, you need to know all of this so that you can be the problem solver. In order to be the problem solver you must find the problem. You do not want to scare them away through selling. No want likes to be sold but everyone likes to buy..
Never pitch your company you want to dangle what you have in front of them. Make them ask you and then don't get to excited when they do. You want to make it more of… Are they a good fit for you? After all this is your business you don't want to do business with everyone.
This process could take a little bit after all you are building a relationship and trust this doesn't happen in two messages. So, after you have spoke to them and they are a good prospect for your business you are going to want to make sure to follow up. Make sure you are using a good tool so that you don't leave money on the table by forgetting to follow up the money is in the follow up. I use a great software called Customer Relationship Manager.
After you prospect on Facebook you are going to want to put them on your close friend list this will insure that you are seeing there posts and they are seeing yours as well. Engage with them comment and like the stuff they post. So they remember you and know you are there to help them. Remember, to keep in touch with them to be building those relationships and your business will sky rocket without selling this is attraction marketing at it's finest. To learn more about attraction marketing check out MLSP I have used them since Jan 2014.
