Fighting Rejection is tough when you are on a mission to better your life.
We have all experienced rejection at some point in our lives whether it be a rejection from your mom as a child for the cookie or from a date in High school.
For those of us who are entrepreneurs, we deal with rejections on a daily basis and let's face it. It's not fun! However, there is a simple way to get over the fear of being rejected.
What if I were to tell you there is a way to start fighting rejections?
Have you ever heard of anchoring? You can use anchoring when you are talking negatively about yourself. Yes, I know you talk negatively to yourself we all do, in fact, if we spent as much time working toward our dreams vs. talking negatively to ourselves think of how much further we would be today.
There is your answer. Whenever you start to talk poorly to yourself. Saying things like “I should have prospected more.” Yes, we all do it, I know I am guilty of talking bad to myself for hours, even days. However, talking poorly to yourself is helping anyone and you were put on this earth to help people. So go help people! Rejections are part of the process. Do you think Bill Gates has had his fair share of rejections? Yup, and still does.
Your time much better spent helping people change their lives then beating yourself up for not doing it. You can't control the answers, you can only control your actions.
Go out and get a no from someone, get rejected! Yes, you read that right! Go get more rejections and start anchoring! Talking poorly to yourself? Just jump on the phone or go to social media however you get your leads.
Then ask, “Are you open to a side project if it doesn't interfere with what you are currently doing?”
If they say no. Move on that easy!
